PlayStation 4 Kemco RPG Selection Vol.14

Four fantasy adventures in one selection

The fourteenth Kemco RPG Selection brings four role-playing games together in one value package. Enjoy four distinctive RPGs with completely different atmospheres, intuitive controls and well-balanced combat, with stories ranging from comedy to classic fantasy adventures.

The lineup includes Astrune Academy, about magical girls in battle as they work toward becoming accomplished mages; Journey to Kreisia, in which a hero confronts a demon overlord in another world; Alter Age, an RPG where characters switch between adult and child forms; and Spirit Valor, a collection-focused RPG featuring spirit contracts and monster capture.

These four adventures offer satisfying amounts of content and optional challenges that RPG fans can enjoy at length. Some take around 15 hours to complete, with approximately 33 hours of play when optional content is included.

From serious stories where ambitions and convictions collide to lively comic developments that raise a smile, the varied lineup offers four different experiences. Focus on reaching the ending, or spend time exploring everything each game offers.

The selection was designed to offer better value than purchasing the four individual downloadable versions. Other packages in the series also contain many different, distinctive RPGs, and you can begin with any of them.

Astrune Academy

Astrune Academy is a school RPG about boys and girls studying to become mages.

Its 2D command-based battles feature special commands unique to each character and transformations fitting for magical girls. Character development extends beyond leveling up, with a wide range of options including purchasing special items and strengthening skills.

As you complete assignments at the academy and work toward becoming a fully fledged mage, uncover the mystery behind the devastated regions affected by a phenomenon called Lost.

Journey to Kreisia

Yusis, a high-school student suddenly summoned to another world, sets out with the priestess Cynthia to confront a resurrected demon overlord. This classic fantasy RPG follows Yusis and his companions as encounters in an unfamiliar world help them grow.

Enjoy varied battle systems, including unlocking new skills by increasing your affinity with weapons and strengthening equipment with magic stones. The adventure also offers plenty of optional RPG activities, including an arena, side quests and a monster encyclopedia.

Alter Age

A young man awakens to Soul Alter, a skill that lets him switch between adult and child forms. His adventure unfolds with companions whose ages and personalities change through this ability. Strategically arrange a party pairing a boy with an older female companion or a girl with an older male companion.

Switching between adult and child forms changes skills and traits during combat, while story events and NPC reactions also change.

A second playthrough can carry over your data, allowing you to enjoy the adventure again with the adult or child forms you did not choose the first time.

Spirit Valor

A spirit obtains a hero's body as its vessel and struggles to save two worlds: the human realm and the spirit realm.

The spirit realm is home to many spirits besides the protagonist. Form contracts with them, raise their levels and teach them powerful magic to use in battle.

Throw Monster Stones at weakened enemies to absorb and use their techniques. Combine those abilities with the skills of different spirits to approach battles strategically.
