IKD 2007 SPECIAL (2007 CAVE MATSURI VER.)
This elusive version of Ketsui operated for just one day at each of the Cave festivals in 2007 and 2018. Dedicated M2 Gadgets have also been prepared specifically for IKD 2007 SPECIAL (2007 CAVE MATSURI VER.).
Who is IKD?
IKD is the nickname of Tsuneki Ikeda, identified in the original release description as Cave's vice-president, and the person who established the bullet-hell shooting genre.
In addition to serving as director and lead programmer of the arcade version of Ketsui, he has worked on nearly all of the company's bullet-hell shooters, including the hit DoDonPachi. He was also executive producer of Gothic wa Mahou Otome: Sassato Keiyaku Shinasai!
VIRT ARRANGE background music set
These arrangements are by Jake “virt” Kaufman, who has composed music for the Shantae series and Shovel Knight. The tracks were created for the Arrange Mode of DoDonPachi Resurrection Black Label on Xbox 360; this release makes it possible for the first time to play Ketsui with virt's music.
