Langrisser Kadokawa Games

A legendary sword returns—and a history of battle is engraved anew

A grand tactical simulation RPG revolves around the legendary sword Langrisser. The origins of the Langrisser series return with a range of new elements, as a landmark of traditional tactical RPGs.

Refined visuals

The character designs have been refined by Ryo Nagi. Alongside the renewed graphics, battle cut-ins and new events have been added.

The battle scenes have been completely remade while preserving the characters' familiar small-scale appearance.

Fully voiced with a new cast

The scenarios are fully voiced by a distinguished new cast, with Ayane Sakura as Chris, Eri Kitamura as Jessica, Koudai Sakai as Elwin, Ryota Osaka as Ledin and Saori Onishi as Liana.

The cast also features Hiro Shimono as Hein, Yuka Otsubo as Narm, Saori Hayami as Lushiris and Ari Ozawa as Cherie, among others.

Renewed systems

The user interface has been completely renewed for modern platforms, making the game easier to play.

New scenarios and a new heroine

The branching routes and multiple endings introduced in Langrisser II and Der Langrisser have also been adopted for Langrisser I.

Some of the newly added routes feature the new heroine Betty.

Arranged music that brings the entire game to life

Noriyuki Iwadare himself has newly arranged his compositions. Music that combines nostalgia with freshness makes the battle scenes even more exciting.

The story of Langrisser I

Since ancient times, the legendary secret sword Langrisser has been said to grant unlimited power to whoever holds it.

Much blood was once shed between those who sought to seize the sword and those who sought to protect it. Afterward, it remained protected for a long time by the royal family of Baldea, descendants of an ancient hero.

But the time finally came when even that strong defense would fall. A long journey began to defeat Emperor Digos, the enemy responsible for the hero's father's death.

The story of Langrisser II

Hundreds of years later, small wars continually break out across the continent, fade away and begin anew. It is an age in which conflict never ceases.

Troops of the Rayguard Empire attack the outskirts of a village. Their target appears to be Liana, who lives on the village's edge.

Why have the imperial knights come to such a peaceful village? With that question in his heart, Elwin leaves the inn to rescue Liana.
