Cursed after a seemingly trivial incident, the protagonist investigates haunted places that may offer clues, drawing closer to the nature of the curse consuming him and the terrifying truth behind it.

An inescapable chain of curses

Hayato Tsukumo, a writer for the occult magazine Agastia, hears a troubling rumor while carrying out his daily reporting. People are disappearing one after another in S City under inexplicable circumstances. The missing people have two things in common: they visited haunted places, and they received mysterious messages on their smartphones.

Although intrigued, Tsukumo begins investigating another story. Then a mysterious message and video arrive on his own smartphone.

Unable to resist his curiosity, he watches the video. A mysterious camera app has been installed on his phone.

Another message arrives, filling Tsukumo with dread: You have been cursed.

Explore cemeteries, abandoned houses, shrines and other haunted sites, and uncover the truth behind the rumors associated with each location.

Turn the results of your investigations into articles for Agastia. The response to your articles can reduce the effects of the curse.

Search for secrets hidden in the darkness

Tsukumo explores haunted locations to find clues that might break his curse. His only tools are a flashlight to illuminate the dim darkness and a cursed camera app that can capture spirits.

Use both to seek out and investigate places where something feels wrong.

Spirit videos reveal clues

Successfully photograph particular spirits at haunted locations to view spirit videos. The information recorded in these videos may provide clues to breaking the curse.

The curse of death draws closer

The curse torments the protagonist's mind and body. If a spirit appears at a haunted location and you fail to photograph it, or if you keep exploring for too long, the curse progresses.

Time is running out for Tsukumo. Push yourself too far and continue investigating recklessly, and the curse will consume you completely, ending in death...
