A new love begins

A completely original romance simulation arrives on PlayStation 4.

Since True Love Story, released in 1996, producer Ichiro Sugiyama has continued to create original romance simulations including KimiKiss, Photo Kano and Reco Love. Here, he joins Taro Minoboshi, a creator of numerous hits across games, illustrations and comics.

LoveR tells a story of pure love in which you take photographs and record videos as relationships develop.

Riria Takamura

A third-year student in class A of the high-school division and a member of the rhythmic gymnastics club, Riria is the school chairman's granddaughter.

A gifted, beautiful young lady, she stands out in the club with her graceful performances. Because of her family connection, news of her conduct at school quickly reaches home, so nobody dares approach her romantically.

She herself is accustomed to these circumstances and has a bright, friendly personality. She also has a strong core and will never compromise on what matters most to her.

Nanatsu Higadera

A second-year student in class A of the high-school division and a swimming-club member, Nanatsu is a swimming enthusiast who always gives everything her all.

She is a childhood friend who has been in the protagonist's class since elementary school. They are completely at ease with each other and can talk about anything.

She is rough around the edges and blunt-spoken, constantly hungry and a hearty eater. Her signature “Nana squeeze” involves grinding her knuckles against someone's temples.

As boundlessly bright and energetic as the midsummer sun, she finds it difficult to sit still. Her only worry as a swimmer is her short height.

Christa Kasumi Ikuno

A second-year student in class C of the middle-school division, Kasumi is a sincere, quiet girl for whom photography is a friend.

Her mother is a Canadian of Russian descent, and Kasumi spent her early childhood in Canada. She is shy and reserved.

Since becoming interested in photography in middle school, she has always carried a camera. All the pictures she takes are monochrome.

She has a frail constitution and struggles with dusty places. Quiet, reticent and shy around strangers, she does not belong to the photography club, but gets to know the protagonist through photography.

Yumina

A first-year student in class A of the high-school division and a tennis-club member, Yumina is the protagonist's younger sister and is extraordinarily fond of her big brother.

She always wants to be together and help him in any way she can. Being a model for his photographs seems entirely natural to her as his sister; in fact, she wants him to take her picture.

Sometimes she emphatically shows her feminine charm to her brother, who still thinks of her as a little child.

She likes cooking and often brings a homemade lunch to school. Her tennis skills still need work, but she gives her best using her natural athletic ability.

The game was designed to use PlayStation 4 sharing features to upload the photographs and videos you capture to social networks. Sharing destinations depend on the platform services and supported options available.

Your controller becomes a camera

Experience virtual photography by treating the controller as a camera. Tilt the DualShock 4 up, down, left or right, and the view tilts in the same direction.

The game supports PlayStation 4 voice recognition. Speak to a character during a photo session and receive a variety of reactions.

The visuals are brought to life using modern three-dimensional computer graphics.
