Memories Off 5pb.

An irreplaceable feeling that will not give way

Memories Off returns seven years after the previous entry, Yubikiri no Kioku.

A scenario with two contrasting faces, the lightest and most serious in the series, draws players into a poignant and fleeting Alternative Love Story: a choice between two, in which just one feeling must be chosen.

Its eventual destination is the keyword shared throughout the Memories Off series: irreplaceable feelings. Set in winter in Shonan, the Last Memories now begin.

Two sides of the story

A defining feature of the series is the relationship between two kinds of story. The Light Side portrays the everyday lives, worries, love and youth of high-school students. The Heavy Side portrays extraordinary circumstances in which they are buffeted by past incidents and challenge those events.

The gap and contrast between these sides make a powerful impression. Depending on the route, the balance and atmosphere of romance and mystery can change significantly; even visual effects, such as the colours of the graphics, may change.

Farewell, Memories Off

The original announcement presented this as the latest and final Memories Off. The series combines sweet, bittersweet love stories with painful, serious developments that tighten the heart, creating substantial human drama extending beyond the usual boundaries of a romance adventure.

The long-awaited new entry was also announced as the series finale. Around three years have passed within the story, and the Last Memories begin in winter in Shonan.

Returning heroines and their connections

Character design is by manga artist and illustrator Tsukune Taira, known for work including Shoujo-tachi wa Kouya wo Mezasu and Yukidoke no Oto in Kadokawa's Dengeki G's Comic.

Heroines from the first game through the seventh entry, Yubikiri no Kioku, appear again. Several years have passed since their first appearances; this game is set ten years after the first entry. What are they doing now? How will they appear, and how will they connect with the new characters?

The grown-up heroines appear as guests from the different instalments, offering nostalgic reunions for players of earlier games.

Shin Inaho, the only character to appear throughout the entire series and its Mr Memories Off, also returns. What connections will he have with them?
