The United Kingdom of Euchronia has lost its rulers following the assassinations of its prince and king, plunging the realm into confusion and anxiety. Then, one day, an unprecedented election spell activates. A struggle for the throne begins.

Time advances with every action during your travels. You are free to choose what to do, though achieving your aims sometimes requires planning and decisions.

During the day, solve the problems troubling townspeople, enter dungeons in search of treasure, or hunt bounty targets that threaten others. At night, spend time with your companions or improve your own qualities. Make the journey your own.

Travel aboard your moving base, the gauntlet runner

Ride the gauntlet runner to distant towns and dungeons. You can choose how to spend the travelling time aboard it.

Tense and satisfying combat: overcome strong enemies and sweep weaker ones aside

Powerful enemies in dungeons trouble the party with many different attacks. Use the varied abilities of your Archetypes to defeat them.

Strong foes are fought through turn-based command battles. Strategically exploit their weaknesses amid fierce encounters and experience the satisfaction of bringing them down.

As the party grows stronger, enemies that once presented a serious challenge become weaker than you. Sweep these lesser foes aside on the field with a single action attack, keeping dungeon combat fast and satisfying.
