Nobunaga's Ambition is a historical simulation set in Sengoku Japan, where you aim to unify the country. Celebrating the series' 30th anniversary, Souzou centers on creating a new era: realizing the unification and new world that Nobunaga could not achieve.

A realistic 3D map of all Japan

Sengoku Japan appears on one beautiful 3D map. Castle towns, the foundations of expansion, grow realistically with fields and merchants' buildings according to your policies.

Dynamic battles through multiple fronts

More than 300 castles appear, the series' largest number. Armies departing from several castles can coordinate attacks on multiple enemy castles simultaneously. When units clash, battlefield encounters deliver cinematic spectacle.

Shape dramatic history yourself

Your choices make the Sengoku period more dramatic. The series' first free quest system recounts a daimyo's life through successive Sengokuden quests. Historical events between quests deepen immersion. Complete the quests to follow recorded history or create a Sengoku era no one has seen: the choice is yours.

PlayStation 4 features

The series' dramatic Sengoku panorama arrives in full HD, adding numerous features for the console's launch. Pixel-for-pixel full HD depicts developing territories, changing seasons and Japan's details with greater precision. Battle scenes run at 60 frames per second for increased immediacy.

During gameplay broadcasts, viewers' comments can influence play: sending the command to strengthen the player's army during a battle increases its attack and defense. At launch, the publisher also highlighted posting screenshots to Facebook and publishing gameplay videos with the controller's Share button.

Remote Play lets you play the PlayStation 4 game on PlayStation Vita. Finer zoom adjustments improve camera control. The maximum number of registered officers rises from 300 on PlayStation 3 to 1,000. The controller's touch pad can scroll the screen. Cross-save shares saves between PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4; the publisher specifies that both versions require the supporting update.
