PlayStation 4 Radirgy 2 – Limited Edition

Radirgy returns after eighteen years

The second console-game project from established retro-game brand BEEP Akihabara brings back the acclaimed offbeat, radio-wave-themed shooter Radirgy in an evolved form after eighteen years. Use two player craft with different capabilities and aim to clear the game.

The original Radirgy, which proved popular in Japanese arcades in 2005, is also included.

What is Radirgy 2?

Radirgy 2 is a vertically scrolling shoot-'em-up in which you can control two different player craft.

Murasame uses twin-stick controls and evolves as you acquire enemies and items. This exhilarating craft develops powerful attacks such as lasers and spinning slashes.

Kojiro offers a familiar, nostalgic feel: defeat enemy craft with shots and bombs using controls that will satisfy veteran shooter fans.

Pilot these craft, each with its own characteristics, and aim to clear all five stages.

Radirgy 2 also includes a port of the original Radirgy that became popular in arcades and on home consoles. Its colorful, cel-shaded, offbeat shooter style has lost none of its appeal; enjoy the original game's fun as it was.

A distinctive world and sound

The series' unique world and characteristic sound are still very much present. Since its 2005 debut, Radirgy has appeared on many platforms and attracted numerous longtime fans. Its distinctive sound still shines as brightly as ever, and an entirely new set of tracks brings this game to life.

Character voices selected from more than two hundred applicants

The Radirgy voice-acting audition welcomed professionals and amateurs alike, attracting more than two hundred applicants. Four performers especially suited to the characters were selected, bringing color to the game while preserving its unique atmosphere.

Different experiences with the Order System

Orders are missions carried out during play. Change your Order settings before launching to encounter different enemy craft and experience the game in different ways. Aim to complete the game with a variety of Orders.

Three limited-edition physical extras

The original limited edition was packaged with the Gojaru Button, which plays character voices and sounds when pressed; a Radirgy 2 Special Mix CD featuring music available only with the limited edition; and an art-book booklet carefully prepared by the publisher.

These contents were designed for both longtime fans and people discovering the series. The presence and condition of these physical extras depend on the individual Used copy.
