PlayStation 4 Rail Romanesque Origin - Limited Edition

All aboard!

The Great Railway Closure: rail lines are disappearing as new transport technologies develop.

In a corner of this world, a young man named Sotetsu Migita meets girls who each hold their own wishes, together with the Railords—railway control modules left behind by the changing times—and begins a journey along the rails towards renewal.

A full-length visual novel brought to life with e-mote animation

This extensive visual novel is animated throughout in 2D using e-mote, a technology that brings illustrations to life.

Its twelve stories of healing and reconstruction are divided into 443 short episodes, each taking around ten minutes to read. This approach offers a novel experience that you can stop and resume anytime, anywhere, without being tied to saving and loading.

Building on the PlayStation 4 game Maitetsu: Pure Station, released in 2018, this sequel and complete edition features a thoroughly redesigned interface, twice the scenario content, 22 new vocal songs and many additional event CG illustrations.

A shared world with Rail Romanesque 2

The game shares its setting with the anime Rail Romanesque 2. Enjoy this story of railways and healing, featuring the Railords—female-form robots equipped with artificial intelligence—through both the anime and this game.

Limited Edition physical contents

The Limited Edition includes all thirteen episodes of Rail Romanesque 2 on DVD and Blu-ray, with audio commentary, together with a vocal collection for Rail Romanesque Origin and the anime Rail Romanesque 2.

The anime discs were exclusive to this edition. The vocal collection includes all the vocal songs used in the game and the latest ending songs from Rail Romanesque 2, offered at the earliest opportunity when this edition originally launched.

The publisher identifies the vocal collection as a three-CD set.

For this Used edition, the presence and condition of the game, anime DVD and Blu-ray, vocal CDs, special packaging and other physical accessories depend on the individual item.
