Resident Evil 3

Raccoon City bears the unmistakable atmosphere of the 1990s. Here, the city as it transforms into a city of the dead is portrayed with a level of detail made possible by the game's contemporary console hardware.

Powered by the RE ENGINE, which has produced many acclaimed games, the beautifully recreated city and its newly interpreted characters, including Jill Valentine, set the stage for a drama woven together with a more terrifying Nemesis-T Type.

Story

Mysterious disappearances occur on the outskirts of Raccoon City, in the American Midwest.

The police special forces unit S.T.A.R.S. goes to investigate. Although the unit is almost wiped out, its members discover that the cause is a biological disaster resulting from a leak of the t-Virus, a biological weapon developed by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella.

The surviving members, including Jill Valentine, try to expose the truth. However, even the police organization is under Umbrella's control, and their accusations are suppressed.

Meanwhile, cases of a disease that turns people into cannibals begin to appear in the city, and vicious wild dogs roam its streets.

As the viral infection spreads through the city, Jill renews her determination to survive.

But Jill does not yet know that the most powerful messenger has already been unleashed to erase everything.

Jill Valentine

Jill is responsible for rear security in the Raccoon City Police Department's S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team.

Trained in combat by Delta Force, she was an outstanding member skilled at picking locks and handling explosives. Yet when her unit visited a mansion outside Raccoon City to investigate the disappearances, attacks by the dead and monsters destroyed the team, leaving only Jill and a few others alive.

After surviving, she continued an independent investigation to expose Umbrella, the company that developed the t-Virus responsible for the disaster. Suddenly, her superiors ordered her to remain at home, and she was placed under surveillance day and night.

The city is controlled by Umbrella through collusion across every sector, and even the police organization is no exception.

Jill decides to escape Raccoon City so that she can reveal Umbrella's wrongdoing to the world, but...

The original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

The original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis was released in September 1999 and had sold a cumulative 3.5 million copies as of September 30, 2019.

Set in the same Raccoon City as Resident Evil 2, released the previous year, it depicts the prelude and conclusion of the unprecedented biological disaster that strikes the city.

The escape story of Jill Valentine, a protagonist of the first game, and the relentless pursuer Nemesis-T Type showed a new possibility for survival horror: the fear of being hunted.

Resident Evil Resistance

Resident Evil Resistance is a competitive survival horror game set in Raccoon City around the time of the incident.

Umbrella has been conducting human experiments in secret. The experimenter, known as the Mastermind, forces subjects into harsh conditions to collect various kinds of data, while the subjects, known as Survivors, work together to escape the experimental facility.

The Survivors win if they clear the stage within the time limit. The Mastermind wins by preventing their escape.

The struggle over the time limit, which increases or decreases according to the actions of the Mastermind and Survivors, is the key to victory.

Competition between these completely different styles of play brings a new kind of excitement.

Mastermind

The Mastermind is an experimenter who collects data by driving the Survivors, subjects gathered for inhumane experiments, into extreme situations.

Using cameras positioned throughout the facility, the Mastermind places traps and sometimes takes direct control of creatures to attack the Survivors.

This distinctive style of play combines the strategy of anticipating an opponent's actions with the construction-like pleasure of building a stage.

Survivors

The Survivors have been abducted and subjected to harsh experiments. Alone, they cannot overcome the Mastermind.

However, by making use of their individual strengths, coordinating against powerful enemies and rescuing companions in danger, they can work together to open a path through the ordeal.

The catharsis of cooperating with other players to overcome difficult situations is characteristic of cooperative survival horror.

The original Collector's Edition contains the game and the physical items described below. For this Used edition, the presence and condition of each physical extra depend on the individual copy.

Jill Valentine figure

A figure faithfully recreating Jill Valentine, the protagonist of Resident Evil 3, down to the smallest details. The pre-painted figure uses PVC, ABS and iron. Its body is approximately 270 mm tall; the base is approximately 30 mm tall and 200 mm in diameter.

Art Book: PROJECT: N & PROJECT: R

The hardcover art book reproduces films and documents recording the devastation of Raccoon City, filed as confidential investigative material. It measures approximately 297 × 210 mm and contains 32 interior pages.

Special Soundtrack

A two-CD soundtrack featuring newly composed tracks for the game and arrangements of original music, with 24 tracks from Resident Evil 3 and 21 from Resident Evil Resistance.
