Resident Evil 7 Biohazard

The new first-person perspective, Isolate View, combines with RE ENGINE's ability to render even the finest atmospheric details to create an immersive feeling of calamity beyond the screen.

Banned Footage and End of Zoe

Each Banned Footage pack portrays incidents untold in the main game and includes an extra game with a different flavor from the main adventure.

End of Zoe is the final story in the world of Resident Evil 7. What fate awaits Zoe, the mysterious woman who guides Ethan?

A new Resident Evil

Fear, combat, exploration and item management: these four essential elements of survival horror are combined with precision to create the Resident Evil experience. Although the new RE ENGINE and Isolate View perspective bring a major transformation to Resident Evil 7, its core remains unchanged.

RE ENGINE

RE ENGINE is a new engine developed for Resident Evil 7. Its performance achieves photorealistic expression rivaling a live-action film, rendering the textures of objects and even minute details such as dust in the air. Its introduction in Resident Evil 7 opens the way for its use in a variety of future works.

Isolate View

Resident Evil 7 makes a bold change to its gameplay perspective. The name Isolate View evokes isolation and separation, bringing an unprecedented level of immersion to first-person gameplay. Feel the unease conveyed by its name.

Japanese voices

Japanese voice performances bring the terror even closer. Immersive play accelerates the fear, while the passionate performances of accomplished voice actors bring the drama to life.

PlayStation VR support

The game can also be enjoyed through regular play without a PlayStation VR setup. With PS VR, dive into the full 360-degree world of Resident Evil 7 and experience an unknown kind of terror.

Story

A single message arrives from the wife he lost contact with three years ago. Ethan Winters drives to distant Louisiana and reaches a dilapidated mansion.

Searching the mansion for traces of his wife, Ethan senses something strange. A sudden attack knocks him unconscious. When he awakens, the Baker family, the mansion's terrifying residents, awaits him.

Gold Edition content

Alongside the main game, Gold Edition includes the additional content Banned Footage Vol. 1, Banned Footage Vol. 2 and End of Zoe.

The free downloadable episode Not a Hero offers a further adventure.

Not a Hero

Chris Redfield confronts the truth behind the incident. His operation targets Lucas Baker. The horrors of the Baker mansion will not end until this deceitful and insane man is secured.

Not a Hero begins at the climax of the main game. Ethan was drawn into a nightmare against his will; here, a professional enters the danger zone. Its different kind of terror also brings a shooter flavor to the action.

End of Zoe

Will the tragedy of the Baker family finally end? This episode unfolds from the perspective of a man living beside a lake.

It is the last story chronologically in the world of Resident Evil 7. Discover what lies ahead for Zoe, the mysterious woman who guided Ethan.
