PlayStation 4 Samurai Warriors 4 DX 15th Anniversary Box

The complete Samurai Warriors 4 experience

Samurai Warriors 4, released in 2014, was the latest numbered entry in the Samurai Warriors series at the time. Set in Japan's Sengoku period, it lets you experience a sweeping historical tale woven by 55 warriors. The popular title had shipped more than 500,000 copies in Japan.

Samurai Warriors 4 DX includes everything from Samurai Warriors 4, together with more than 150 previously released pieces of downloadable content, including character costumes and weapons. It was released as a value-priced complete edition.

55 distinctive warriors

Many warriors bring the Sengoku story to life, including Nobuyuki Sanada, voiced by Daisuke Ono, and Yoshitsugu Otani, voiced by Satoshi Hino, whose participation was frequently requested by series fans.

A total of 55 distinctive warriors create a new Samurai Warriors experience.

Historical stories across Japan

The main Story Mode unfolds historically based tales around two strands: regional stories depicting the exploits of warriors in places such as Kyushu and Shikoku throughout Japan, and the unification story leading to the end of the Sengoku period.

Compared with previous Samurai Warriors games, battles are presented by faction, giving the relationships between warriors a more dramatic treatment. Experience their convictions, conflicts and intersecting feelings.

Travel Japan in Chronicle Mode

Chronicle Mode lets you travel through the world of Samurai Warriors, completing different quests throughout Japan, meeting warriors and collecting items.

Create a distinctive original warrior with the greatly improved editing feature, and weave your own history of the Sengoku period.

More than 150 included content items

The DX edition incorporates 52 costumes, 28 edit parts, 60 weapons, four military horses, eight scenarios and five pieces of background music from the previously released downloadable content.

A 64-page, top-bound art book collects setting materials, rough sketches and design drawings created during development of the Samurai Warriors series, including many hand-drawn illustrations.

The soundtrack and music-video collection contains four CDs and four DVDs. Alongside CDs of background music from the Samurai Warriors series, the music videos combine event scenes with the background music of each title, housed in a special case.
