The ultimate choice: a story woven through song

Song of Memories tells a heartrending story of six heroines as the world changes from bright, enjoyable school life. Songs hold the key to its story, and an ultimate choice awaits the protagonist. It offers a vast scenario, a wealth of songs and animation throughout.

Irreplaceable time that will never return

Although an unknown virus has been discovered in the world, the protagonist has little sense of its reality and enjoys school life with six beautiful girls, unaware that these moments will become irreplaceable.

The first half’s common route contains the classic event scenes of a romance adventure. Starting in autumn, it includes more than 100 shared events, such as pool outings and dates, full of happy moments with the heroines.

Viewed from the story’s later half, this seemingly long stretch becomes a short, precious time. “It was so much fun, but now I cannot remember anyone’s voice.”

The virus spreads around the protagonist and heroines, triggering a pandemic. The city becomes a devastated world, and the infection reaches the heroines too.

In the individual routes of the second half, the heroines’ painful feelings unfold within a changing world. Their relationships with the protagonist deepen, with many sweet romantic scenes, but a painful ultimate choice lies ahead. An ending unlike earlier games of this genre awaits.

Animation throughout with E-mote

From conversations to event illustrations, the game uses E-mote to animate its 2D art, aiming for the feeling of watching an anime. Instead of relying only on still images and changing expressions, characters react to dialogue, and others turn their eyes or faces toward whoever is speaking.

These smooth movements challenge the conventions of adventure games. Reactions are set in fine detail to match each line, encouraging you to watch dialogue through to the end rather than skip it.

Event illustrations also feature varied animation, with more than 100 animated cuts. Full voice acting includes the protagonist, and Auto mode lets you experience the game with the feeling of watching an animated show.

A large scenario and popular voice cast

The heroines’ cast includes Kaede Hondo, Mai Fuchigami, Yui Sakakibara, Yui Horie, Ayane Sakura and Sayaka Senbongi. The extensive scenario comes with more than 40 hours of recorded voices.

More than 30 songs and song-based 3D battles

Five Dream4You characters support the protagonist. Could their songs ultimately save this world?

The SoS system lets you battle enemies through song. It incorporates rhythm-game elements into 3D battles, and your choice of Dream4You characters changes the combination of songs.

The game includes over 30 songs: two opening songs, six ending songs sung by the heroines’ voice actors, one shared ending song and 22 songs used in the song-based battle system. The battle-song selection alone exceeds 20 tracks.

The original Limited Edition package contains one PS4 game disc, a four-CD original soundtrack, a 56-page setting-material booklet.
