STEINS;GATE 5pb.

STEINS;GATE is reborn as an entirely new, fully animated adventure

On October 15, 2009, STEINS;GATE arrived on Xbox 360 and immediately became a talking point as an outstanding game. Its story went on to move many people through television and theatrical anime adaptations. This edition brings an unprecedented sense of immersion as you advance the animation through your own choices, with newly created animation for the many endings that the television anime did not portray.

5pb.'s first fully animated adventure

In a conventional adventure game, character portraits or event illustrations remain on screen while the story advances through a text window. Here, pressing the button to advance the text sets the animation in motion. Like an interactive anime, it draws you into the world and encourages you to share the characters' emotions.

New animation and a new approach to the screen

The many endings that did not appear in the television anime receive new animation by WHITE FOX, the studio responsible for the television series.

The Phone Trigger system remains, while the screen display becomes clearer and more immersive. The routes have been reorganized so that even anime fans unfamiliar with text adventures can enjoy the story through to the end.

Made-to-Order Limited Edition physical contents

This special edition was originally produced to order and packaged with an elaborate selection of physical items.

High-definition framed illustration

An illustration by huke is reproduced using detailed, high-definition printing and presented in a frame.

Storyboards for the new animation

The included storyboard collection is by Kenichi Kawamura, director of the television anime STEINS;GATE 0.

Special film strips from the new animation

Alongside the film strip included with the standard release, this limited edition originally contained one additional randomly enclosed film strip. Specially selected scenes were added for this edition.

The presence and condition of the original frame, storyboard book, film strips and packaging depend on the individual Used copy.
