PlayStation 4 Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania

Twenty years of rolling: plenty to play at an accessible price

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Super Monkey Ball, the long-running casual-game favourite in which you guide a monkey inside a ball towards the goal, this entry offers the series' largest collection of content.

Based on three of the series' most popular games, it contains 348 stages in the main game alone, together with 12 party games for up to four players. It brings together a generous selection of games at an affordable price.

More than 300 stages: the largest collection in the series

Super Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball 2 and Super Monkey Ball Deluxe have all been fully remade.

Story Mode contains 100 stages, while Challenge Mode offers 248. New modes, including Dark Banana Mode, add to this substantial collection.

Camera control has improved over the previous entry, and the addition of a helper mode makes the game easier to approach, with higher overall quality.

Keep playing together

Alongside the main game, 12 party games offer activities such as racing, tennis and futsal for up to four players.

Both the quantity and quality of the party-game content have been substantially improved over the previous entry, with enough to keep playing the party games on their own.

Online rankings have also evolved. Both the main game and party games support rankings, so aim to become the best in the world! Players of all kinds, from children to parents, can enjoy the game.

Dress your monkey and roll with your preferred look

For the first time in the series, character customisation lets you coordinate your very own monkey. The plentiful customisation items offer endless combinations.

Once your outfit is ready, take a commemorative picture with the snapshot function and share it on social media.

The monkeys are voiced by Noriko Hidaka, Koichi Yamadera and Toshihiko Seki, the voice-actor group Banana Fritters, who also perform the theme song “Hello Banana”. A varied selection of guest characters joins the fun.

Special guest characters

Sonic and Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog, Beat from Jet Set Radio and Kazuma Kiryu from the Like a Dragon series appear in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.

The bananas in stages can change into items such as rings and Staminan X, letting you experience the worlds of these collaborating characters.
