Thirty years on—fight for this planet's tomorrow
Celebrating the Super Robot Wars series' 30th anniversary, Super Robot Wars 30 brings together 22 works in a dream crossover, including five newcomers: Brave Police J-Decker, The King of Kings: GaoGaiGar VS Betterman, Knight's & Magic, SSSS.GRIDMAN and Mazinkaiser INFINITISM. Experience the series' 30th anniversary with newly overhauled systems.
The setting has been renewed so that even players who have never tried the series can enjoy it. This game also introduces AUTO Battle to the home-console Super Robot Wars series for the first time.
Many popular robot anime join the battle
Majestic Prince and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection make their first appearances in the home-console Super Robot Wars series. Many other robot anime also participate, including Heavy Metal L-Gaim and Mobile Suit Victory Gundam, both returning after a long absence.
Beautiful robot battle animations
Robot combat is depicted through high-quality graphics and powerful animation. Cut-in graphics and effects for robots and characters have become even more detailed.
The game also includes numerous animated movie cut-ins during battle, a feature that was well received in the previous game.
Tactical Area Select
Tactical Area Select is a new system in this game. Choosing a point from several available combat zones changes how the story develops and the order in which you acquire units and characters.
You can also choose and play missions in particular areas to earn funds and experience.
AUTO Battle
For the first time in the home-console Super Robot Wars series, AUTO Battle lets you automate unit movement and combat on the map. It is useful when earning experience and funds, among other situations.
Original protagonist robot and characters
Huckebein 30
Designed by Hajime Katoki, this humanoid mobile weapon was developed through a plan called the XXX (XENOGENEIC X-FACTOR X-TYPE) Project. Its name, Huckebein 30, replaces the project's abbreviation XXX with the number 30.
Although it is a newly developed machine, signs of repairs can be seen in various places. These mysteries remain, but its performance is high.
Edge Sainklaus
Designed by Sachiko Kono and voiced by Tomokazu Sugita, Edge is a young man who becomes the pilot of Huckebein 30 through a turn of events. He has a rough, easygoing personality and little attachment to things.
His background is unknown, and he refuses to talk about his past. Nevertheless, his handling of mobile weapons suggests that he has received specialist training.
Az Sainklaus
Designed by Miho Itoi and voiced by Mai Aizawa, Az is a runaway girl whose background is unknown. A particular incident leads her to become the pilot of Huckebein 30.
She is quiet and rarely approaches others of her own accord, but does not reject people who approach her.
