A classic-style RPG where nine protagonists' paths intertwine

The Alliance Alive, the acclaimed new-classic RPG released in June 2017, returns with every visual renewed in beautiful HD, bringing the adventure to modern consoles.

The long-awaited PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch editions were announced for release during the same period across countries in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania.

Features of the HD version

The gameplay originally spread across two screens has been adapted for comfortable play on one screen.

All visuals have been renewed in HD. An assist function teaches you new systems during play, and a new guidebook function has been added.

The PlayStation 4 version supports trophies.

Story

A world where humans are ruled by beings known as Daemons.

A thousand years ago, the Great Barrier erected by the Daemons severely disturbed the earth's magnetic field. On that day, the blue sky disappeared from the world.

Over the centuries that followed, the world was divided into several zones and brought under their rule. A new hierarchical society, with Daemons at its summit, formed its own distinctive cultures.

Yet no matter how much time passed, the flame of human resistance to this domination never died.

Now the world begins to move once more.

This is an ensemble story of struggle and understanding, where the wills of rulers and ruled, and people on opposing sides, intersect.

Four foundations of a new-classic RPG

The adventure combines a rich and diverse fantasy world, an ensemble scenario told through nine protagonists, a world map explored freely with boats and flying vehicles, and turn-based command battles with parties of up to five.

Nine protagonists whose stories converge

Control nine protagonists of different races, genders, ages and social positions, advancing their stories while changing perspectives.

Their destinies gradually become intertwined and eventually converge into a single story.

Obtain vehicles and venture across the world

Move your characters freely around the world map on foot.

As the story progresses, acquire a boat and sail the seas. Later, obtain a flying vehicle and travel freely through the air.

Using these vehicles, you adventure through the world's different regions.

Battles focused on pace and tactical tension

The system is based on turn-based command battles with parties of up to five, and includes a fast-forward function reaching four times normal speed.

Fighting powerful enemies increases the chance of Awakening new techniques. When a character's motivation rises during combat and enters the Ignition state, a powerful Final Strike becomes available, sacrificing a weapon to unleash it.
