The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Nihon Falcom

The first Trails of Cold Steel comes to PlayStation 4

With cumulative sales exceeding one million copies in Japan and overseas, the Trails of Cold Steel story RPG series has earned strong praise from male and female fans alike for its carefully developed characters and grand narrative.

The first game now arrives on PlayStation 4. It is an ideal starting point for players entering the Trails series, as well as an opportunity for existing fans to experience the beginning of Class VII's story again.

Enhanced presentation and High-Speed Skip Mode

Support for 60 fps, 4K and higher-quality background music makes the experience more comfortable. A new High-Speed Skip Mode also supports both players who want to enjoy the story casually and those who want to explore every aspect of the game.

Switch to double speed for events and field exploration, or quadruple speed for battles, allowing you to play at a more comfortable pace.

Save-data compatibility

The game also works with save data from Trails of Cold Steel III. Importing this data unlocks in-game costumes and lets you begin with the advantages associated with a subsequent playthrough, including the maximum number of Bonding Action Points and 100,000 mira.

Save data from the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of Trails of Cold Steel can also be imported, allowing you to continue playing in this PlayStation 4 edition.
