A new adventure around Mana and the holy sword

Visions of Mana is an entirely new entry in the series, a story centred on love, Mana and the holy sword.

Val, the protagonist, sets out with his childhood friend Hinna, who has been chosen as an alm, toward the distant Tree of Mana.

The colourful, expansive semi-open fields contain many mechanisms to discover and monsters that are both charming and frightening. Borrow the power of the elementals for fast-paced, multidimensional battles.

As the companions progress on their adventure, they begin to see the truth of their world. Must they accept the destiny before them?

A new Mana story begins as a classic fantasy RPG returning to the series' roots.

Val

“Helping the companions who matter to me is only natural.”

Val comes from Tianeea, the Fire Village. He is the protagonist and a soul guard entrusted with protecting the alms. Curious and good-natured, he begins travelling the world after the Alm of Fire is chosen.

He is proud to have been appointed soul guard as his village's representative.

Hinna

“I'm counting on you to get me to the Tree of Mana, my soul guard!”

Hinna comes from Tianeea, the Fire Village. Val's childhood friend, she is chosen as the Alm of Fire and is sincerely delighted to travel together with Val as her soul guard.

Careena and Ramcoh

“My dream is to see the whole world with my own eyes.”

Careena comes from Longren, the Vale of Wind. She lost one wing in an accident, but remains deeply interested in the world beyond her village and dreams of travelling from place to place as an alm.

She and Ramcoh, a young sacred beast, are friends with a bond like sisters. Ramcoh has lived in Longren since rescuing Careena after she was injured in the accident.

Morley

“What does it mean to carve out a future? Am I worthy of doing so?”

Morley comes from Etaern, the Moonlit Parish. An incident in his hometown when he was young left deep emotional wounds. Meeting Val and the others leads him to confront his past.

Exploration and mechanisms

Use the power of elemental vessels to activate the various mechanisms found in the fields. Control wind, rocks and even time through elemental power to find a route forward or discover items.

Returning with a newly acquired elemental vessel to a field you thought you had fully explored may reveal something unexpected.

Class changes in battle

Equipping an elemental vessel imbues a character with elemental power and changes their class. This is known as a class change.

Changing class alters stats and the weapons a character can equip, and grants access to class-specific abilities and special techniques.

Their effects vary widely, from restricting enemy movement to providing allies with ongoing healing. Understanding and making use of each class's distinctive strengths is key to gaining an advantage in battle.

Dependable companions for the journey

Pikul is a new companion who makes travelling over land more comfortable. Move quickly through the vast fields and scatter enemies as you travel.

Vuscav is a mysterious turtle-like creature who lets you travel freely across the sea.

Flammie is a legendary creature known as a sacred beast, allowing you to move freely through the sky.
