Heroes and new stories

Xu Shu from Dynasty Warriors 7: Empires and the new Tamamo join the cast. Abe no Seimei from Musou Orochi 2 Special, Rachel and Momiji from Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Shennong and crossover heroes expand the series' largest roster of distinctive champions.

The main story adds events following the Hydra's defeat. A prequel investigates Orochi's birth and uncovers the otherworld's mysteries. Hypothetical battles and alternative perspectives enrich side stories, deepening the heroes' drama.

Expanded modes

Unlimited Mode sends a five-person party into tense battles. Duel Mode combines three-against-three combat with card battles. The scenario-customisation mode becomes True Musou Battlefields, offering greater freedom and more ways to play.

Team action

Three-person team combat evolves with Triple Rush, a coordinated sequence of attacks, and a new finishing technique beyond the True Triple Attack. Stronger combinations and additional actions heighten the series' exhilarating battles.
