An endless journey through a world that freezes the soul
The girl is trapped in a ghost story stained by the setting sun. Yuoni is a first-person horror game set in Japan in the 1990s.
Without realizing it, a girl has built a shell around her heart. After being pressured into taking part in a test of courage, she is haunted by a ghost called Tsun and carried away into a twilight world, where she is forced to play a game of tag called Yuoni.
In this world of dusk, she is attacked by people who are nothing but shadows, eyeball monsters and other horrors. Day after day, she barely escapes the creatures with her life.
Eventually, these strange phenomena begin to appear in the real world as well. And the girl, too...
Changing gameplay: a test of courage becomes a game of tag
In the first half, take part in a test of courage, searching for the doll that serves as your goal. In the second half, the game changes into a terrifying chase, as you try to escape frightening enemies.
All you can do is hide and hold your breath. Quick decisions and decisive action are the keys to survival.
Twilight that evokes both nostalgia and fear
This terrifying game takes place in a strange space made up of school buildings, hospitals and Japanese houses dyed by the setting sun.
The five-chapter story offers a rich world that goes beyond a simple school ghost story and can be enjoyed by adults as well.
Between chapters, text expands the story and its setting in the manner of a visual novel.
