Countless days is performed by Hina, the principal heroine of Plunderer, the anime that began airing in January 2020. The original manga by Suu Minazuki, also known for Heaven’s Lost Property, was serialised to acclaim in Monthly Shonen Ace and had passed 800,000 copies in circulation at the time of this release.

The ending theme gently conveys Hina’s constant concern for Licht and her friends. Warmth and maternal tenderness run through a song that reflects her kind-hearted nature, with a further character song included as the coupling track.
