Pocky & Rocky Reshrined Original Soundtrack brings together all 31 background-music tracks composed by Hiroyuki Iwatsuki, with melodies that evoke the series' nostalgic charm.
The KiKi KaiKai series began as an arcade action-shooting game in 1986. Players take the role of shrine maiden Sayo, using a purification wand and paper talismans to defeat monsters and rescue the Seven Lucky Gods. Console ports and sequels followed across several platforms. Reshrined follows the title released in Japan for Super Famicom in 1992 as KiKi KaiKai: Nazo no Kuro Mantle, known overseas on SNES as Pocky & Rocky.
The booklet includes Hiroyuki Iwatsuki's comments on creating the music for this game.
