Polar Bear Café Animation

Celebrate ten years of Polar Bear Café, the warmly funny television anime that charmed audiences with its lovable characters and distinguished voice cast. Originally broadcast from April 5, 2012 to March 28, 2013, the series follows café owner Polar Bear, regular customer Panda, their animal friends and the people around them in a gentle everyday comedy.

This anniversary collection brings together all 50 episodes in a compact keepsake edition. Each seasonal quarter is presented together, reducing the need to change discs and making the series a relaxing companion for a quiet holiday or an unhurried day at home.

The supplementary programme includes both parts of the tenth-anniversary event held on March 13, newly filmed anniversary-event footage presented as if delivered from Miyakojima, and the evening performance of Polar Bear Café: It’s Tanabata! Make a Wish on Bamboo!, previously released only on DVD and now included again on Blu-ray.

A 20-page special booklet, visual postcards reproducing the original cafe.1 and cafe.5 release designs, and a special sleeve case are first-press features available only while supplies last; their inclusion is not guaranteed.
