Police in a Pod Anime

An unprecedented police comedy portrays the unusually realistic everyday lives of women working at a police box! 'I'm quitting the police!' Mai Kawai took every civil-service examination she could, but the only one she passed was for the police. Having joined for the shallowest reason imaginable, she now regrets it. If she had known the work was so demanding and that officers were so unpopular, she would never have become one!

Clutching her resignation letter and determined to start a second life, Kawai meets her new mentor: Seiko Fuji, a former star of the criminal-investigation division who graduated at the top of her police-academy class and earned the nickname Miss Perfect. Kawai is frightened by the rumor that Fuji was transferred to the police box because of excessive harassment of junior officers, but they immediately head out on patrol together.

Centered on this mismatched pair of rookie Kawai and former detective ace Fuji, a workplace comedy begins as a colorful, appealing group of officers makes you laugh, surprises you and sometimes brings tears. Report to the scene! This is a realistic, perhaps, and entirely new story of women at a police box!

Part 2 contains episodes eight through thirteen, with a running time of 142 minutes. Video extras include promotional videos, commercials, broadcast advertisements and a collection of previews. Audio commentary is also included.
