Food for the Soul Sony Music Labels Anime Music

Miso Shiru to Butter was first released digitally by Reira Ushio in October 2023. Its theme is the ordinary happiness of enjoying a delicious meal. The Playing Video released around the same time, showing her performing alone with her guitar, became a topic on social media and inspired more than three thousand related videos. It has also become a popular staple of her live shows.

The song is now the ending theme for Food for the Soul, which began airing on April 12. This original slice-of-life anime follows five young women who have just started university. With an original story concept by Atto of Non Non Biyori, it is a heartwarming comedy in which distinctive characters eat, laugh and deepen their friendships. What chemistry will emerge from this ideal pairing of a food-filled everyday anime and Reira Ushio's song?
