Resident Evil: Damnation Blu-ray

Rumours of monsters on the battlefields of the Eastern Slav Republic draw Leon S. Kennedy into a civil war between government forces and insurgents. Sent to investigate the use of bio-organic weapons, he refuses to leave when the United States abruptly withdraws its support. Captured by rebels and surrounded by threats from both sides, Leon must uncover who is controlling the weapons before the conflict spreads.

Directed by Makoto Kamiya and written by Shotaro Suga, Resident Evil: Damnation combines CG action with a story of political unrest and biological warfare. Matthew Mercer voices Leon, with Toshiyuki Morikawa in the Japanese dub; Ada Wong and the rebel fighter Buddy also play central roles. Digital Frontier provides the CG production, and Anna Tsuchiya performs the ending theme, Carry On.

The approximately 100-minute film includes a concept-art gallery, Las Plagas: B.O.W. Secret File, The DNA of Damnation making-of film, gag footage in English and Japanese, the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con press presentation and an interview with Kamiya. An archival trailer collection covers Resident Evil 6, DmC Devil May Cry, Dragon’s Dogma and the Resident Evil fifteenth-anniversary feature.

English and Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 tracks are accompanied by Japanese and English subtitles.
