Ridge Racer celebrates thirty years with a two-CD collection of club-music remixes. Released by Namco, now Bandai Namco Entertainment, as an arcade racing game in 1993, it attracted attention through exhilarating drifting and music that created an innovative racing experience, continuing to draw fans worldwide three decades later.
The first disc brings together Ridge Racer and Ridge Racer 2 composers Sampling Masters MEGA, Sampling Masters AYA, sanodg and J99, alongside series contributors Hiroshi Okubo, Yuu Miyake, Rio Hamamoto and LindaAI-CUE. Mifumei and Sho Okada join the Ridge sound for the first time.
The second disc features internationally active producers REMO-CON, HIROSHI WATANABE, Ryu, BUBBLE-B, kors k, Nhato, Hommarju, The LASTTRAK and Spinnage. The booklet includes NAMCO SAMPLING MASTERS members' memories of development and messages of appreciation to fans.
