The theme song to the hugely popular PlayStation 2 role-playing game Final Fantasy X is composed and produced by Nobuo Uematsu, celebrated for his Final Fantasy music, and sung by RIKKI, the songstress of Amami.

The single also includes Pure Heart, a newly recorded vocal version of Aerith’s Theme from Final Fantasy VII. Chosen by an overwhelming margin as the favourite in an online poll, the melody receives lyrics written by Emiko Shiratori.
