ROAD59 Stage & Musicals

Bushiroad opens a new era of underworld chivalry with ROAD59 Shinjidai Ninkyo Tokku. Following BanG Dream!, Revue Starlight and D4DJ, this media-mix project brings a new approach to the ninkyo genre. In a city swirling with desire, rival organisations’ ambitions intersect and collide as they stake their beliefs and ways of life on the coming battle.

This release captures the project’s first stage production, performed at Nakano ZERO Main Hall from December 24 to 27, 2020. The main film also includes the closing performance’s curtain call.

A full-stage view and backstage material offer another perspective on the production. Rehearsal-room reports by the performers and making-of footage follow the work behind the staging and filming, revealing the actors’ efforts as they launch this new world. A booklet accompanies the release.
