Rock Is a Lady's Modesty Standard Blu-ray Box

Lilisa Suzunomiya attends an elite girls' academy where she strives to earn the school's most prestigious title, Noble Maiden. To her classmates she appears every inch a refined young lady, but she entered the wealthy Suzunomiya family only a year earlier, following her mother's remarriage. Determined to meet her mother's expectations, she has buried her real feelings and abandoned the rock music and guitar she once loved.

Her carefully maintained image begins to crack when she encounters Otoha Kurogane, one of the school's most admired students, and unexpectedly sees her playing the drums. Behind their polished manners, the girls discover a fierce musical energy that gives them a way to express what they cannot say in everyday life.

Akira Sekine voices Lilisa, Miyuri Shimabukuro voices Otoha, Ayaka Fukuhara voices Tina Isemi and Natsumi Fujiwara voices Tamaki Shiraya. Adapted from Hiroshi Fukuda's manga, the series is directed by Shinya Watada with series composition by Shogo Yasukawa and character designs by Risa Miyatani, with animation by BN Pictures.

This standard four-disc box contains all thirteen episodes, approximately 312 minutes of main content, in Japanese Linear PCM stereo without subtitles. Bonus footage includes live-performance scenes with a dedicated Linear PCM 5.1 soundtrack, creditless opening and ending sequences, the teaser and main promotional videos, and four character-introduction videos.

The three-sided storage case uses newly drawn Risa Miyatani illustrations on both sides. Its 28-page booklet includes character and instrument design materials, illustrated comments from original creator Hiroshi Fukuda, and comments from the anime staff. A postcard is also included.
