Rohan Kishibe's greatest case becomes a complete film adaptation: exquisite suspense that leads viewers into a profound world. The manga artist with supernatural abilities hears a rumor from a woman he admired faintly in his youth about the blackest painting in existence. It is also the most evil painting in the world.

Years later, while researching a new work, Rohan learns that the painting is held at the Louvre. He travels to France for his research and the lingering traces of that affection. Strangely, even the museum staff know nothing of the black painting. The storage location returned by its database is Warehouse Z-13, a basement repository that should no longer be in use. There Rohan faces the terrifying events caused by the painting.

The cast features Issey Takahashi, Marie Iitoyo, Kento Nagao, Masanobu Ando, Minami and Fumino Kimura. The standard-edition main disc contains the 119-minute film, a collection of promotional videos and main-film audio commentary by Takahashi, Iitoyo, Kimura and director Kazutaka Watanabe. A special leaflet is enclosed. The promotional video collection runs approximately five minutes.

Japanese main audio is provided in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2-channel stereo, with Japanese audio description in DTS-HD Master Audio 2-channel stereo. Commentary uses Dolby Digital 2-channel stereo. English subtitles and Japanese subtitles for the hearing impaired are available. Deluxe-edition bonus discs and acrylic items are excluded from this standard edition.
