ROOT FIVE Daigyakuten Emotion Ten Edition CD
ROOT FIVE/大逆転エモーション 通常盤
Entering the fifth anniversary of their debut, ROOT FIVE presents a milestone release built around a declaration of moving beyond the utaite label.
Their career began with videos posted online, and criticism followed them from the outset: amateurs pretending to be professionals, or people merely singing karaoke on the internet who could never succeed on a major label. After becoming a four-member group, and after one member suffered a serious injury during rehearsals, they nevertheless resolved to keep going. They made another commitment: whatever people might say, they would deliver their songs as professionals.
The music lays bare that history and their determination for the future. Having stood at the centre of internet music's fresh impact while struggling within the major-label world, ROOT FIVE can deliver the message to break out of your shell with particular conviction. It is a message intended to reach listeners well beyond their existing fans.
The standard edition also features a song inspired by a character created on the group's regular show.
