Rosy Flower Moon looks back over Seika Nakayama's first four decades through more than 180 illustrations. Early standalone stories and serialized works lead into The Knights of Alfheim and the Hanakanmuri no Ryu no Kuni series, including colour artwork that had not previously appeared in an artbook.
The selection also covers Hanakanmuri no Ryu no Himegimi, Robin - Kaze no Miyako no Shitei and Zoe - Minazoko no Koibito, before returning to Hanakanmuri no Ryu no Kuni 2nd and encore. These different series are connected by Nakayama's own explanations and recollections, extending to more than 12,000 Japanese characters of commentary.
A feature in which Akemi Ijiri asks Nakayama thirteen questions accompanies lists of the works and publications issued under the artist's name. Published by Akita Shoten, the 159-page Japanese-language B5 volume combines the colour-art retrospective with a detailed record of Nakayama's career.
