映画 王立宇宙軍 オネアミスの翼 4Kリマスターメモリアルボックス 通常版
If we stop here, what does that make us? I am still going. Even if it kills me, I will get up there!
In 1987, the young production collective GAINAX accomplished its first feature-length animated film. Thirty-five years later, it returns in a 4K remaster with HDR. GAINAX's first production receives the 4K remaster long awaited by fans for its thirty-fifth anniversary, with revival screenings beginning October 28, 2022 and a release on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray.
The video supplements include the pilot film with the Orera Uchu no Pilot audio version, appearing on home video for the first time. The BGM collection previously available only on LaserDisc and the documentary file first released in 1987 are also brought back in this memorial edition.
Story: Shirotsugh Lhadatt is a soldier in the Royal Space Force, an army that does not fight. Despite its thirty-year history, the Space Force has been abandoned by the government and can no longer reliably send even a satellite into space, let alone a human being. Shirotsugh's dreams of space have gradually faded, and he skips training whenever he likes. One day in town he encounters a mysterious young woman, Riquinni, who preaches God's teachings, and his destiny changes. Undeterred by opposition from his fellow soldiers, Shirotsugh volunteers to become a space pilot. A spaceflight programme to restore the Royal Space Force's prestige and honour begins.
