Sadistic Mika Band Seiten Live in Tokyo 1989 Blu-ray
サディスティック・ミカ・バンド/晴天 ライブ・イン・トーキョー1989
A rare concert film from the second incarnation of Sadistic Mika Band, reunited with Karen Kirishima as vocalist.
The band debuted on June 21, 1972 with the single Cycling Boogie / Aurora Girl. This release marks fifty years since their first album, Sadistic Mika Band, was released on May 5, 1973.
The programme features music from their 1989 album Appare, including the major hit Boys & Girls, and records the legendary concert held during the two-day engagement at Tokyo Bay NK Hall on the tour supporting that album. The performance recorded here took place on April 9, 1989.
The original video master has been restored using cutting-edge technology, and the sound has also been carefully upgraded. The substantially improved concert film is presented on Blu-ray.
