Saint Young Men The Movie: Holy Men vs. Demon Army turns Jesus and Buddha's leisurely life in Tokyo into a larger-scale fantasy comedy. Kenichi Matsuyama and Shota Sometani star in Yuichi Fukuda's live-action adaptation of Hikaru Nakamura's manga, bringing the series' everyday humour to the feature-length story The Long Road to the Screen.

Having safely made it through the turn of the millennium, Jesus and Buddha are taking a discreet holiday on Earth. They share a small, six-tatami apartment without a bath in Tachikawa, enjoying Japan's changing seasons, sharing ice cream and trying their luck in the neighbourhood shopping arcade. Their relaxed routine even includes forming the comedy duo Punch and Long Hair.

A messenger from heaven interrupts their break with a forbidden offer. Before long, the two are caught up in a crisis involving gods, Buddhas, angels and demons, with the Earth's survival unexpectedly at stake. The supporting cast includes Kento Kaku, Takanori Iwata, Ryo Katsuji, Taiga Nakano, Ryunosuke Kamiki, Mai Shiraishi, Haruna Kawaguchi, Takayuki Yamada, Tsuyoshi Muro, Jiro Sato, Masataka Kubota and Tatsuya Fujiwara.

The deluxe edition includes the 93-minute feature and an additional Blu-ray with making-of footage, recorded event appearances, trailers and promotional spots. An original slipcase and sticker sheet complete the physical edition. The film offers Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and Linear PCM 2.0 tracks, plus a Japanese Linear PCM 2.0 audio-description track and Japanese subtitles.
