J-Pop Being J-Pop

A new generation of musicians captivated by ZARD’s timeless standards make their debut as SARD UNDERGROUND, carrying those songs into a new era.

Each time they listened, sang and played, the four members—with an average age of twenty—became more deeply drawn to ZARD’s work. Under the pressure of taking on such a legacy, they perform with wholehearted effort and profound respect. Their version of My Friend was chosen as the image song for the Tohoku–Miyagi Recovery Marathon 2019.
