Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2 Vol. 1 Blu-ray Box follows Rio into a new chapter in which memories of a past life collide with the people standing before him. Collecting episodes 1 to 6 of the second season, this Japanese release continues the fantasy adapted from Yuri Kitayama's novels, illustrated by Riv.

Rio grew up as an orphan in the slums after his mother's murder. At seven, memories of Haruto Amakawa, a Japanese university student who died in an accident, awakened within him together with immense magical power. Encounters and separations shaped his travels, and in his parents' homeland he vowed revenge against the man who killed his mother. Returning to the Strahl region after years away, he rescues his former teacher Celia from an unwanted political marriage. A sudden pillar of light then leads him to an astonishing reunion with Miharu Ayase, Haruto's first love.

Miharu, Aki and Masato have crossed into this other world, while Hiroaki Sakata arrives through a hero-summoning ritual. Yoshitsugu Matsuoka returns as Rio alongside Akane Fujita as Celia, Yuki Kuwahara as Aishia and Tomori Kusunoki as Latifa; Sayaka Harada voices Miharu. Hiroshi Kubo directs the season, with Osamu Yamasaki overseeing direction and series composition, character designs by Kyoko Yufu and animation by TMS Entertainment's 6th Studio.

The illustrated slipcase features new art by Kyoko Yufu, and the disc carries a picture label. A special booklet includes an original short story by Yuri Kitayama, while the illustration card presents the full-body version of the package artwork. Approximately 32 minutes of supplementary video include creditless opening and ending sequences, episodes 1 to 6 of Celia-sensei's Doki Doki Interview Room and episodes 1 to 12 of Celia-sensei's Waku Waku Magical Classroom Season 2.

The main programme runs approximately 142 minutes on one Blu-ray, presented in 16:9 1080p with Japanese Linear PCM 2.0 stereo audio. This region-free edition has no subtitles.
