Story Held every summer, SELECTION PROJECT is the greatest gateway to success for girls who aspire to become idols. It is the dream stage of every girl working towards that goal, and the place that gave rise to the legendary idol Akari Amazawa. Suzune Miyama is one of those who long for that dream stage. Sickly since childhood, she listened to Akari's songs again and again from her hospital bed. That singing voice gave her so many smiles and so much courage. To support someone, to make someone smile, to bring happiness to someone... “I want to become an idol like Akari!” In the last summer of middle school, Suzune decides to enter the seventh SELECTION PROJECT to make her dream come true. The girls taking on SELECTION all have a determination second to none, years of accumulated effort, and extraordinary appeal. Even so, only a handful of stars will be selected from thousands of candidates. Now their passionate, demanding battle to make their dreams come true begins.
