Game Music Sweep Record Game Music

Shinji Hosoe joins the Game Music Discovery series with a collection tracing his beginnings at Namco. Newly recorded original game music from Dragon Spirit, Assault and Quester is joined by arrangements created especially for this album. The jacket features a new illustration by Dragon Spirit's original illustrator.

Dragon Spirit introduced players to its blue dragon in 1987. Assault brought clear FM sounds to the arcades through a twin-lever tank game, while Quester's bright melodies revealed Hosoe's style in a block-breaking setting. Twenty-five years later, these memories return through new recordings and remastering.
