The collection considers adult women through the perspective of a younger observer. In the included 51-question interview, Matsuura describes a sense of distance in her pictures: the subject is admired by someone too shy to approach. This insight gives context to the unguarded moments and quiet fascination that shape the work.
An afterword by Kannon Hanabusa accompanies the illustrations and interview. Published by Geijutsu Shinbunsha, this Japanese-language collection contains 140 pages.
