SHISHAMO Deshita!!! is the band's final album before the end of their activities. Its title comes from the words singer and guitarist Asako Miyazaki always uses to close their live performances. Like a bright farewell from the stage, it carries their gratitude and the hope that their music will remain part of listeners' lives.
Each of the three members selects sixteen songs for a disc of her own: the Miyazaki disc, the Matsuoka disc and the Yoshikawa disc. Together, the three CDs contain forty-eight tracks.
The accompanying booklet includes a comment for every song, explaining each member's selection. Their individual perspectives give the collection three distinct voices.
