Shohei Harumoto Artworks PRIDE Vol. 1 brings together motorcycle cover illustrations by the artist behind Kirin, marking forty years of his career. The selection includes Mr. Bike BG covers from October 2006 to September 2013, RIDE volumes 1 through 84, selected Kirin artwork and the cover painting for the book tracing MotoGP rider Hiroshi Aoyama's career.
The illustrations are reproduced without cover lettering or cropping. An enlarged A4-derived format, 22.5 cm wide, gives artwork originally made for smaller magazines more room, while the Aoyama book's continuous front-and-back cover image appears across a spread. This volume also has its own continuous front-and-back cover artwork.
Published by Motor Magazine, this Japanese-language first volume contains 228 pages. It is sold individually, not as the two-volume set.
