Shoko Nakagawa Magic Time CD DVD
中川翔子/Magic Time DVD付
Shoko Nakagawa's eagerly pursued second album brings together the hit singles released in three consecutive months beginning in August 2008, with songs ranging from Shoko-style rock to Shoko-style pop.
The title Magic Time refers to the brief blue interval as the sun sets, described as lasting around twelve minutes and as the most beautiful time of day. It is also said to be a time when women look their most beautiful.
While recording Kirei a la Mode, lyricist Takashi Matsumoto told Nakagawa that when a woman falls in love, she can become more beautiful and stronger. His advice inspired her to choose the album's title herself.
The title also expresses her wish that listening to the album will feel like spending a joyful, comfortable time under a spell.
