DJ Caesar, who grew up with the genre and created the Weekly Shonen Jump 50th Anniversary and Mobile Suit Gundam 40th Anniversary anime mixes, applies his extensive knowledge to the selection.
The mix evokes an era of city nights, illuminated skylines and poolside glamour. Illustrator Misaki Tanaka provides the jacket artwork, making this a welcoming introduction to city pop as well as a continuous sequence for established listeners.
