A girl at the bottom of the species hierarchy, with the strongest spirit of all, fights to survive a labyrinth! The popular series, which had surpassed three million copies in circulation at the time of release, becomes a television anime.

A spider is the heroine?! The long-awaited animated adventure of a girl with an indomitable spirit began broadcasting on Friday, January 8, 2021, for two consecutive cours. The original So I'm a Spider, So What? began serialization on Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2015, with thirteen novel volumes published by Kadokawa BOOKS at the time of this release. A former high-school girl is reincarnated as a spider monster in a fantasy world. With extraordinary optimism, she races through a dungeon crawling with vicious monsters in this labyrinth-survival adventure.

Each of the four Blu-ray boxes in the two-cour series was announced with a digipak newly illustrated by original illustrator Tsukasa Kiryu and a substantial booklet with a newly illustrated cover by character designer Kii Tanaka. The booklet explores the world through a newly written novel by Okina Baba, a script with the author's commentary and a newly drawn contribution by manga artist Asahiro Kakashi. A specially designed outer case holds the contents together, creating a collection full of the series' appeal.
