Sonny Boy Soundtrack 1st Half introduces the music of the original television anime on vinyl. Shingo Natsume directs and writes the series, Madhouse handles animation, and Hisashi Eguchi supplies the original character designs.

With the cooperation of Shinichiro Watanabe, who works as a music producer alongside his animation direction, nine notable acts from Japan and abroad were selected for the soundtrack project. Every piece is newly written and newly recorded.

This first half includes the television version of Ging Nang BOYZ's theme song Shounen Shoujo, alongside music by Sunset Rollercoaster, VIDEOTAPEMUSIC, The Natsuyasumi Band, Mitsume, Ogawa & Tokoro and Mid-Air Thief.
