Release September 19, 2007
Seiji Yokoyama’s score for Space Pirate Captain Harlock unfolds as a symphonic suite. Originally released as the first Harlock album in May 1978, while the television series was beginning, it presents the music as an extended orchestral journey.
ANIMEX 1200 revisits notable and rare recordings from Columbia’s animation catalogue. This reissue belongs to a group of fifteen popular titles brought back after their original limited runs sold out, responding to requests from listeners. The music has been digitally remastered, while the recordings retain the character of their original era.
